Deer in Nara

Well, these are the infamous deer of Nara. Scary little buggers. Vendors sell some kind of deer cookies that you can feed to them and yes, I was a bad tourist and bought a pack with my friends. I doubt it's good for them based on the scat I saw. Anywho, as soon as they realize you have food, they will swarm you (figure 1). They've also learned in recent years to bow for food. This resulted in a lady sitting with an ice cream cone getting smacked in the head with antlers when she wouldn't give it to the deer.
